Okay so the news is finally out, Dare to Create: Oldham Arts Festival is coming back!

Hosting the festival last year was like nothing we have ever done before. It turned out to be an incredibly successful week, with sell out shows and new work in a town without a theatre. How could we not do it all again?! So, we will once again be taking over venues in Oldham with work made by, with and for the people of Oldham for a celebration of creativity right here, in our home town.

But we couldn't do it without you. So...

Please consider this your official invitation to take part in Dare to Create: Oldham Arts Festival 2026!!

Artists, this is your space. We want you to join us in showcasing all of the inspiring work happening locally. Whether your work is theatre, dance, comedy, music, poetry... we want you to be a part of the programme!

If you have a full piece that will be ready to perform, Dare to Create: Oldham Arts Festival is for you. We have slots available across all 5 days in all of our venues, with stages waiting for your show.
