LITBM (“Lit Bum” | lɪt bÊŒm) is an up-and-coming, comedy theatre company.
We are four neurodivergent nerds who love to create and entertain!
We really don’t mind if you’re laughing with us or at us.
After all, Laughter IS The Best Medicine.
THE CAST
MADISON FREEMAN
No relation to Morgan, although they’ve never been in the same room together…
Born & raised in Rochdale, she grew up with three sisters & a chaotic household. Like the Kardashians, but all on the spectrum!
She’s got a first-class honours in Theatre & Performance & a masters in arse-kicking from Chuck Norris himself.
She is LITBM’s ‘Jack of all Trades’. From Acting to Zumba, she does it all. Also, she does 99% of our networking, because she’s an absolute ray of sunshine.
Some of her comedy favourites are: Bo Burnham, Lonely Island, Aunty Donna & Kate McKinnon!
JACOB COOK
​Jacob loves gym! Oh wait, no, autocorrect. Jacob loves Jim, the man at the chippy.
He has two degrees (smartarse). Honours in Theatre and Performance & a PGCE in Drama.
Hailing from Shaw, Oldham. He loves his hometown, but is ready to branch out to new areas with LITBM!
Jacob is our admin queen. He likes to spend a Sunday afternoon organising; finances, rehearsal spaces & locations for filming. He loves connecting with new people.
Comedically, he is inspired by: Aunty Donna, Frankie Boyle & musical comedy like Flight of the Concords.
TOMMY LOWE
​He is, despite his surname, the tallest member of LITBM. Is he the funniest? Let’s move on…
With a first-class honours in Theatre from the Uni of Salford, he is qualified & very very smart.
He grew up in London but now lives in the North, like a normal person.
In LITBM, he is the self-appointed grammar police & a freak in the sheets (the sheets of paper he writes sketches on, that is).
His comedic inspirations are: Noel Miller, Tim Vine, Aunty Donna & Blue Jam.
CURTIS DIPPLE
​Yes, his surname rhymes with nipple. It’s really funny and he’s never heard it before. You should tell him!
He graduated from the University of Salford with a degree in Media and Performance. Two degrees for the price of one? Wow, what a bargain!
The international member of LITBM, Curtis lived in Malta from ages 7-15 when he moved back to his hometown of Manchester, England because he hates seeing the sun.
He can usually be found writing silly sketches and improvising his way through LITBM shows.
Influences are, but not limited to: Donald Glover, Tim Robinson, Key and Peele & Mitchell and Webb!
