OLDHAM ARTS FESTIVAL
ON AIR
BY JAKE SCOTT
Double bill with 'Flesh and Bones'
1853 Studios - Mill 2
SUNDAY 24th AUGUST
7:30pm

'On Air' is a play about what it means to hear - to listen - to speak. Follow the music into a world of memories, melodies, and tensions as a young man explains why strangers are blowing up his phone. People aren't very happy with him - but what did he do, and why did he do it?
Through reminiscence, banging tunes, and the sheer power of radio, the protagonist DJs up a tale of how silence speaks louder than words, apart from when it doesn't. You don't need to know his name. All you need to know is how much he loves tuning in.
