About Us

Dare to Know Theatre was formed by Jake Talbot & Miranda Parker.

After working together for around five years, our working relationship blossomed to the point where creating Dare to Know Theatre felt like the logical next step.

We're both incredibly proud of our roots, both being born and bred in Oldham, we feel dedicated to engaging with the local community, inspiring them to get involved with our work.

We're dedicated to engaging people from all walks of life, helping them to connect with each other to explore the worlds in which they live.

We're delighted with the work we've made to date, being able to engage the local community with our work, telling stories of life in care, life of the poverty and starving class, our incredible local healthcare workers and ordinary life, relevant not only to our town, but towns across the whole North of England.
